Black Girl Doctor Wellness Coaching 

In partnership with the UC Merced Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS), Black Girl Doctor offers wellness coaching services free to all UCM scholars. Wellness coaching focuses on helping scholars seek balance between their academic and personal lives. Coaching appointments are now 90 minutes!

Soluna Mental Health Coaching / Support (ages 14-25)

  • 1:1 coaching- Get support, advice, and direction from a mental health professional any time. Unlimited sessions free.
  • Interactive tools- Destress and process feelings with tools like mood log, digital journal, breathwork, and goal-setting.
  • Peer connection- Find your people and perspective through weekly polls, an active forum, and community prompts.
  • Self-discovery + growth- Learn more about yourself, your health, and what you need with quizzes, videos, articles, and more.

The Haven at College (Check with insurance provider for coverage details including co-pays, required referrals, etc.)

Treatment Programs: Services at The Haven are limited to students, creating a safe and supportive environment Serving both primary mental health & primary substance use needs IOP : 6-9 hours/week program (3 hours/3 days a week) EOP : 2-4 hours/week program in the afternoons, evenings and weekends Evidence-based treatments including Motivational Interviewing, CBT & DBT skills, ACT, Seeking Safety, and other experiential modalities We have immediate availability, students are admitted within 24-48 hours All programming is offered virtually for students outside of Los Angeles

Free family-to-family education weekly class offered from 5:30-8:30PM, beginningThursday at the Merced County Mental Health Building, 480 E. 13th St. The 12-week course discusses illnesses and clinical treatments and teaches the knowledge and skills family members needs to cope more effectively. Classes are pending sufficient enrollment of 15 families. Please call to confirm class information.
